Responsibilities

• Create a memorable member experience and provide first-class service in all club operations.
• Manage tee-sheet operations using ForeTees as needed.
• Administer purchases and billing through Jonas POS system for golf department.
• Reconcile daily tee sheets and check-ins; resolve discrepancies in charges.
• Promote department offerings and assist with merchandise operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Golf Shop environment.
• Support Director of Retail with merchandising initiatives and promotions.
• Follow opening/closing procedures and club policies.
• Communicate courteously with members, guests, staff, and management.
• Follow safe work practices and uphold club regulations.

Job Description to include but not limited to the following responsibilities: Must possess a strong character and be driven to succeed in a member focused environment. Being self-motivated, goal oriented, hard-working, friendly and outgoing are key attributes. Providing exceptional service to the guests is of utmost importance while driving the set vision and direction of the operation through a can-do professional attitude and personality. Must be available to work weekend and holiday shifts.

Experience Required

• Previous country club experience preferred
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
• Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers and members

Essential Responsibilities

• Creates a memorable member experience and provides first-class service in all aspects of the Club operation
• Accounts for rounds utilizing tee sheet software (ForeTees) as necessary
• Administers point-of-sale (Jonas) applications related to golf department charges, merchandise sales, member/guest billing
• Reconciles daily tee sheets, performs check-ins, and resolves any discrepancies related to charges
• Promotes all department offerings
• Assists with all merchandise operations
• Maintains a clean, organized, and professional Golf Shop environment
• Assists the Director of Retail with merchandising initiatives and sales promotions as needed
• Adheres to established opening and closing procedures
• Assists staff in enforcing Club policies, procedures, and service standards for the membership
• Communicates with members, guests, co-workers, management, and the general public in a courteous and professional manner
• Incorporates safe work practices in all daily responsibilities
• Complies with all Club regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions
• Exhibits and maintains a professional demeanor that reflects positively on Jonathan's Landing Golf Club
• Performs additional duties as assigned
