Job summary

Jonathan's Landing Golf Club in Jupiter, FL is seeking a Golf Shop Assistant to support daily shop operations, tee time and lesson reservations, and POS transactions. This full-time seasonal role runs mid-October through April.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in sales or customer service, are available weekends/holidays and can handle fast-paced pro shop duties with a guest-first attitude. 15 lb lifting/daily standing is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in sales or customer service.
• Weekend/holiday availability with 7am–3pm or 9am–5pm shifts.
• Detail-oriented and organized with multitasking ability.
• Strong interpersonal skills and guest-first attitude.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 15 pounds.

Golf Shop Assistant

The Position

The Golf Shop Assistant handles day-to-day golf shop operations at Jonathan's Landing — from tee time reservations and check-ins to point-of-sale transactions and retail merchandising. This is a great fit for someone detail-oriented, guest-focused, and comfortable keeping pace in a busy pro shop.

What You'll Do

• Process point-of-sale transactions and manage tee time and lesson reservations
• Check in members and guests, and collect and record payments (member charges and credit card transactions) per club procedures
• Reconcile POS with daily sales reports at shift change
• Maintain records of daily play and other data as directed
• Advise members and guests on club policies and procedures
• Promote department offerings and keep members/guests informed of available services and programs

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or customer service; club experience preferred
• Available to work weekends and holidays, and 7am–3pm or 9am–5pm shifts
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, guest-first attitude
• Able to stay calm and positive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stand, reach, bend, stoop, lift and/or move up to 15 pounds

Compensation & Benefits

• $17–$20/hour, based on experience
