Job summary

Worldwide Golf is seeking a Golf Sales Associate to promote a customer-focused in-store experience at our Scottsdale location. You will evaluate customer needs, demonstrate golf equipment, and help customers compare products using launch monitors and simulators while maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.

• Golf knowledge/background is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf values.
• Assess customers' needs and recommend suitable golf equipment.
• Educate customers on golf products and features to aid decisions.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator to provide data during in-store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keep the sales floor organized and clean.
• Check merchandise availability and manage stock in the system; assist with inventory.
• Participate in training and look for process improvements.

Responsibilities include:Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experienceAssist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store.
