Job summary

Worldwide Golf's Golf & Ski Warehouse is seeking a Sales Associate to promote a store culture aligned with our values and to help customers select golf and ski equipment. You will explain features, demonstrate products on-site, and ensure engaging in-store experiences.

After training, you will assist with merchandising, inventory control, and data entry from our stock system. The role requires standing for long periods and flexibility to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge and/or ski knowledge preferred.
• Avid golf or ski enthusiasts; industry experience not required.
• Proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheets, inventory, internet and order processing systems.

Responsibilities include:Maintain an awareness of all golf and ski product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf and ski equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf and ski equipment for the customer.Educate customers on our golf and ski products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experienceAssist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications Desired:Golf knowledge and/or ski knowledge is preferred but not necessary. We are looking for avid golf or ski enthusiasts, industry experience is NOT required.Requirements:Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store.
