Worldwide Golf's Van's Golf Shops is seeking a friendly Golf Sales Associate to promote a store culture aligned with the company’s values. You will help customers select the right equipment and provide data-driven insights using in-store launch monitors and simulators.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge is required.
• Any experience working in the golf industry is a plus (entry-level candidates will also be considered!).

Responsibilities

• Promote a store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf's values and the “Sure No Problem” philosophy.
• Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and recommend suitable golf equipment.
• Educate customers on golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator to provide data during the in-store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf standards.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise and manage stock as needed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities include:Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experienceAssist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store.
