Worldwide Golf is seeking a Golf Sales Associate for its Uinta Golf location. The role focuses on promoting a positive store culture, advising customers on golf equipment, and delivering an engaging in-store experience with data from launch monitor and simulator tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf values and the Sure No Problem philosophy.
• Maintain knowledge of golf products, promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.
• Evaluate customers’ needs, recommend golf equipment, and educate customers to compare options for an informed decision.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide data during in-store experiences.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keep the sales floor organized and clean.
• Research merchandise availability, requisition stock, and assist with inventory where needed.
• Recognize opportunities to improve processes after training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description:

The Golf Sales Associate at Uinta Golf is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy. Responsibilities include:

Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.

Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.

Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.

Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experience

Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.

Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.

Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.

Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.

Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems.

Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
