Job Description

The Apparel Sales Associate at Uinta Golf promotes and maintains a store culture that aligns with Worldwide Golf’s values, especially the “Sure No Problem” philosophy—putting the customer first and ensuring a positive experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain product knowledge, terminology, merchandise, promotions, demo merchandise, and sale ads.
• Manage product flow to the sales floor from receiving areas; assist with markdown and clearance management.
• Assess customers’ needs, recommend apparel, and apply knowledge to aid decision‑making.
• Research merchandise availability in the computer database; requisition from the stockroom; take inventory of stock.
• Maintain database and file shipping/receiving records.
• After full training, recognize and suggest process improvements.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Ability to spend work time standing or moving about departments; physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting up to 15 pounds, carrying, walking, reaching.
• Ability to tag, hang, and sensor merchandise.
• Working knowledge of word‑processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet, and order processing systems.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Desired Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail, apparel, or golf industry preferred (entry‑level considered).
• Golf knowledge/background a plus but not required.
