Job summary

Golf & Ski Warehouse, part of Worldwide Golf, is hiring a Sales Associate to promote a store culture aligned with our values and provide exceptional customer service.

You will build golf and ski product knowledge, assess customer needs, explain features, and help customers compare options, including data from the in-store launch monitor and golf simulator.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge or ski knowledge preferred.
• Able to stand or move around for long periods.
• Familiar with word processing, spreadsheets, inventory, internet and order processing systems.
• Ability to work varied hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf’s values.
• Educate customers on golf and ski products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator to provide data during in-store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from stockroom and manage stock.
• Recognize and suggest process improvements after training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities include:Maintain an awareness of all golf and ski product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf and ski equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf and ski equipment for the customer.Educate customers on our golf and ski products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experienceAssist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications Desired:Golf knowledge and/or ski knowledge is preferred but not necessary. We are looking for avid golf or ski enthusiasts, industry experience is NOT required.Requirements:Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store.
