Job summary

Golf & Ski Warehouse, part of Worldwide Golf, is seeking a Golf Sales Associate to promote a customer-first store culture and apply golf and ski knowledge to assist shoppers in choosing the right equipment.

You will operate launch monitor and golf simulator, support floor moves and merchandising, and learn our processes to continually improve the shopping experience. This role offers base pay plus commission and benefits.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge and/or ski knowledge preferred but not required.
• Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store.
• Flexibility to work varied hours/days including weekends.
• Experience in customer service is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf values.
• Evaluate customers’ needs and recommend suitable golf or ski equipment.
• Educate customers on products and help compare differences for informed decisions.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator to provide data during in-store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keep the sales floor organized and clean.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database and assist stock control as needed.
• Recognize and suggest ways to improve processes once trained.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities include:Maintain an awareness of all golf and ski product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf and ski equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf and ski equipment for the customer.Educate customers on our golf and ski products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experienceAssist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications Desired:Golf knowledge and/or ski knowledge is preferred but not necessary. We are looking for avid golf or ski enthusiasts, industry experience is NOT required.Requirements:Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store.
