Job summary

Make Golf Your Career is seeking an Outside Services Supervisor to oversee the outside services team and uphold exceptional guest service at our golf facility. You will manage cart handling, bag loading, and practice area setup while mentoring staff and maintaining club standards.

You will work primarily outdoors, interact with members and guests, and ensure safety, reliability, and smooth daily operations. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a similar role or strong knowledge of golf.
• Strong communication skills with members, guests, and staff.
• Solid knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and best practices.
• Positive attitude and commitment to outstanding service.
• High attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat/cold and humidity.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Adherence to attendance as per schedule.
• Flexibility to work extra hours and weekends/holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Outside Services team, including staff recruitment, hiring, scheduling, and training.
• Monitor staff time reporting for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Assist golfers with bag loading, club cleaning, and play preparation; provide etiquette guidance.
• Provide post-round support, including cleaning and transporting clubs.
• Oversee cleanliness and organization of outside service areas, carts, storage, and practice facilities.
• Address maintenance or equipment issues promptly to ensure readiness.
• Collaborate with range attendants, marshals, and starters for smooth service delivery.
• Ensure pro-shop, practice areas, and cart staging zones are tidy and organized.
• Monitor daily assignments to meet club standards and deadlines.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
• Follow all policies and uphold ethics and integrity.
• Promote safe working practices and safety compliance.
• Pursue personal and professional growth and maintain required certifications.
