Job summary

Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, California seeks a dependable Outside Services Attendant to join our Golf Operations team. This role greets members and guests, assists with golf bags and equipment, and helps prepare and maintain carts, bags, and practice facilities.

The ideal candidate is punctual, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working as part of a team. Golf knowledge is helpful; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in golf or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Candidates should be dependable, punctual, professional, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests promptly and professionally.
• Assist with golf bags and equipment upon arrival and departure.
• Prepare, clean, stock, and store golf carts for daily play.
• Maintain Bag Room, Cart Barn, and staging areas in clean, organized condition.
• Set up and maintain driving range and practice facilities.
• Monitor range-ball inventory and replenish practice areas.
• Clean clubs after play and return equipment to storage.
• Place carts on chargers and ensure fleet readiness for next day.
• Monitor golf-cart condition and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with routine fleet maintenance and tournament activities.
• Communicate effectively with Golf Shop and team members.
• Anticipate member needs and follow through on tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Golf Operations management.
