Job summary

Five Iron Golf in Washington, DC is seeking a General Manager, Performance / Coach to oversee golf operations, coach members and grow revenue. You will manage staff, partner with the Director of Instruction, and drive lesson and fittings programs while maintaining high service standards.

The role blends leadership with hands-on teaching, offering potential additional earnings from lessons and fittings in a dynamic hospitality-golf setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hospitality, golf operation or related leadership experience.
• Golf instruction experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and develop golf staff, including Head Golf Attendant.
• Manage P&L for golf offerings and achieve revenue targets.
• Lead day-to-day golf operation and set service standards.
• Partner with Instruction Director to manage coach availability and revenue.
• Grow membership through events, outings and relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of golf offerings, technology and retail.
• Deliver high‑quality instruction and club fittings.
• Promote Five Iron and coach presence at events.
