Job summary

Five Iron Golf is seeking a Golf Coach to deliver high‑quality instruction and build lasting relationships with members and guests. You'll report to the General Manager of Performance and grow into a full‑time role through our Coach Development Program.

Using TrackMan and Callaway Tour Fitting, you’ll provide data‑driven coaching, run junior clinics, and promote lessons, fittings, and memberships while maintaining a productive schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years golf industry experience or graduation from a PGM program.
• Proven one-on-one and group coaching experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of swing mechanics, ball flight laws, and launch monitor data.
• Proficient with video analysis and comfortable with golf technology tools.
• Excellent communication skills – connect with golfers of all levels and explain concepts clearly.
• Energetic and engaging personality for group-based learning.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• PGA or LPGA affiliation or PGM graduation is a strong plus.
• Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class golf instruction for players of all skill levels.
• Utilize TrackMan and Five Iron technologies to provide data-driven coaching and fittings with Callaway Tour Fitting.
• Actively engage guests during Golf Experience Engagement Time – promoting lessons, swing evaluations, fittings, and memberships.
• Build and retain a loyal client base by creating welcoming, memorable, performance-driven experiences.
• Represent Five Iron Golf at corporate events with high-energy instructional sessions.
• Maintain a consistent lesson schedule that meets productivity goals and performance expectations.
• Leverage social media to promote coaching services and the Five Iron brand.
• Conduct junior clinics and support community outreach programs to grow the game.
• Follow up with students to convert swing evaluations into ongoing lessons and KPIs.
• Serve as on-floor Performance Expert, elevating the member experience.
• Participate in ongoing education and certification programs to sharpen coaching skills.
