Job summary

Provo City is seeking a Golf Operations Coordinator to support daily golf operations, tournaments, programs, leagues and events at Timpanogos Golf Club. You will enhance the guest experience and collaborate with city staff to deliver quality services.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, a valid driver license, and experience in golf operations or event management. A 4/10 schedule may apply with benefits and opportunities for growth within the municipal recreation system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Professional Golf Management, Business Management, Hospitality, Sports Management, Marketing, or closely related field.
• A valid, lawful Driver License is required.
• Experience in golf operations, tournament administration, recreation programming, customer service, retail operations, or event management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operation of Timpanogos Golf Club, including customer service and tee sheet management.
• Plan, promote, implement, and evaluate tournaments, leagues, clinics, junior programs, and other golf activities.
• Coordinate tournaments and special events.
• Assist with golf shop POS operations.
• Develop promotional materials and marketing content for events and programs.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise part-time staff and volunteers.
