Job summary

City of Provo is seeking a Golf Operations Coordinator to support daily golf operations, tournaments, programs, leagues, and special events at Timpanogos Golf Club. You will help deliver exceptional golfer experiences under the Head Golf Professional and collaborate with city staff.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in recreation/golf management or equivalent experience, plus a valid driver's license and golf operations experience. Full-time, 40 hours, on-site at Provo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in golf operations, tournament administration, recreation programming, customer service, or event management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operation of Timpanogos Golf Club, including customer service, tee sheet management, tournament administration, and special events.
• Plan, organize, promote, implement, and evaluate tournaments, leagues, clinics, junior golf programs, and other golf activities.
• Coordinate tournaments and special events, and assist golf shop POS operations.
• Develop promotional materials and marketing content for tournaments, programs, and events.
• Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, food and beverage management and supervising part-time staff and volunteers.
• Ensure adherence to club policies and customer service standards.
