Job summary

The Patch, operated by Bobby Jones Links, is seeking a Marketing, Communications, and Merchandise Manager in Augusta, GA. The role oversees golf shop merchandise, online sales, website content, social media, and event marketing, with a base salary plus 1% of net income from soft goods sales.

Responsibilities include planning buys with the GM and Director of Golf, managing inventory, updating the WordPress site, running the online store, and promoting events through posters and promotions.

Qualifications

• Marketing, retail, golf, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Social media and WordPress experience.
• Online store/e-commerce experience preferred.
• Basic photography and graphic design skills preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
• Golf industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage golf shop Plan-to-Buy with the GM and Director of Golf.
• Coordinate receiving and inventory of all golf shop merchandise with the GM and Director of Golf.
• Manage the online store, including payments, orders, packing, and shipping.
• Maintain and update The Patch website using WordPress.
• Manage all social media platforms and keep information current.
• Take and organize photos for events, golf programs, and facility marketing.
• Create and post content for tournaments, leagues, clinics, programs, and special events.
• Create event posters, flyers, and promotional materials.
• Manage clubhouse event poster and information boards.
• Work with the golf and management teams to promote upcoming events and programs.
• Ensure that all public-facing information is accurate, timely, and professional.
• Ensure accountability of all merchandise within pro shop and warehouse.
