Job summary

Topgolf - Austin is seeking a part-time Golf Instructor to teach Guest lessons and lead youth academies. The role emphasizes meeting lesson revenue targets and using swing analysis tech to enhance instruction. You will also support events and promote lessons at Topgolf gatherings.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years teaching experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a customer-focused, energetic approach. Some evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years experience teaching golf lessons with experience coaching different levels of golfers.
• PGA Membership a plus.
• Proven track record of successful instruction.
• Social and interpersonal skills required to interact with all Topgolf Guests.
• Familiarity with swing analysis technology and launch monitor technology.
• Ability to work on a team.
• Energetic and enthusiastic.
• Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time including maneuvering stairs.

Job description

Overview

The Golf Instructor role will instruct Topgolf Guests in golf skills in individual lessons or in groups, conduct youth academies, and provide instruction & guidance for large group events. The Golf Instructor will be responsible for hitting specific lesson booking/revenue targets & utilization goals on a recurring basis.

This position will be a part time role that is expected to work 15-25 hours per week, the majority of which will be spent teaching. Instructors that succeed in the role may be considered for full time instruction positions.
