Job summary

Topgolf - Austin is seeking a part-time Golf Instructor to teach Guest lessons and lead youth academies. The role emphasizes meeting lesson revenue targets and using swing analysis tech to enhance instruction. You will also support events and promote lessons at Topgolf gatherings.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years teaching experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a customer-focused, energetic approach. Some evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years experience teaching golf lessons with experience coaching different levels of golfers.
• PGA Membership a plus.
• Proven track record of successful instruction.
• Social and interpersonal skills required to interact with all Topgolf Guests.
• Familiarity with swing analysis technology and launch monitor technology.
• Ability to work on a team.
• Energetic and enthusiastic.
• Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time including maneuvering stairs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule and teach Guest lessons and classes.
• Utilize swing analysis technology and learning theories, and integrate teaching aids in all programs.
• Assist in the operation of Topgolf Kids Academies.
• Serve as a golf professional for Topgolf Events and Tournaments.
• Work with the events team to promote lessons at Topgolf events.
• Walk the tee line to generate leads and bookings (when not engaged in golf instruction).
• Supervise information requests regarding or pertaining to scheduling of lessons and instructional series.
• Perform club fittings & sell golf equipment to Topgolf Guests and Students.
