Job summary

PGA of America in Texas seeks a Career Consultant to support PGA Professionals across their career lifecycle, from job search to retirement, with emphasis on the South Texas region.

You will provide career counseling, coaching, and services, promote PGA ExecuSearch and related tools across platforms, and collaborate with sections and employers to connect candidates with opportunities. Travel approx. 50% yearly is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Professional Golf Management, or related field.
• Five years of experience in golf operations or golf industry leadership.
• Employment/club relations, career counseling and HR training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide career counseling and coaching to PGA Professionals throughout their career lifecycle.
• Deliver job search strategies, resume development, interviewing skills, offer negotiation, and retirement planning.
• Promote PGA ExecuSearch and related tools across PGA platforms and publications.
• Assist PGA Professionals with information from PGA data resources and career services.
• Travel up to 50% per year to support sections, events, and employers.
