Job summary

PGA of America is seeking a Career Consultant to support South Texas, performing career counseling and coaching for PGA Professionals across their lifecycle. You will guide job searches, resume development, interviewing, offers, and retirement planning while promoting PGA ExecuSearch tools and job boards.

You will also gather industry data, support section meetings, and engage with employers to enhance relationships. Travel about 50% annually and operate within a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, PGA Management or related field.
• Five years of golf operations or golf industry leadership experience.
• Experience in career counseling and HR management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide career counseling to PGA Professionals throughout their career life cycle from job search to retirement.
• Provide career services including resume development, interviewing skills, offer negotiation, and retirement strategies.
• Promote PGA ExecuSearch, Job Seeker Profiles, the PGA Job Board and other employment tools across PGA platforms.
• Assist PGA Professionals using PGA and industry data resources.
• Promote PGA Compensation Survey and related Association surveys.
• Promote and participate in PGA Player Development programs and document value for facilities and members.
• Offer hiring resources and services to employers to enhance relationships with stakeholders.
