Job summary

PGA of America in Texas seeks a Career Consultant to support the Southern Texas Section, delivering counseling, career services, and education to PGA Professionals across their lifecycle.

You will partner with employers, promote PGA programs, and collaborate with Section leadership to advance employment strategies and seminars. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Professional Golf Management (Executive Management preferred) or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in golf operations or golf industry management/leadership.
• PGA Member preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide insightful career counseling and coaching to PGA Professionals across job search, membership, and retirement.
• Promote PGA ExecuSearch, Job Seeker Profiles, the PGA Job Board and other employment tools.
• Assist PGA Sections with employment strategies and deliver employment presentations and education seminars.
• Support Section leadership, staff, and Section Education and Employment Committees with relationships and initiatives.
• Market PGA Career Services to facilities and industry stakeholders and collaborate on recruitment efforts.
• Contribute to publications and editorials for Section newsletters and PGA magazine.
