Des Plaines Park District is seeking a Golf & Facilities Supervisor to oversee daily operations at the Golf Center, Lake Park Golf Course, Marina, and Mountain View Adventure Center. The role includes cash handling, event coordination, and staff supervision during evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate has a recreation-focused degree, cash-control experience, and strong communication skills. A valid IL driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification are required or obtainable through the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration or related field preferred.
• One year related experience preferred; cash control experience helpful.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required or classes available through Park District.
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily operations of the Golf Center and related facilities.
• Recruit, supervise, train, evaluate, and discipline part-time staff.
• Monitor cash transactions, prepare cash reports, and deposits.
• Schedule part-time and seasonal staff.
• Respond to public inquiries and provide customer service.
• Coordinate golf outings, leagues, lessons and special events.
• Prepare reports and statistics for golf facilities.
• Coordinate group outings and rentals.
