Job summary

Cleveland Metroparks is seeking a Golf Course Equipment Technician at Seneca Golf Course in Broadview Heights, OH. You will operate, repair, and maintain turf equipment and assist with grounds maintenance, ensuring safe, efficient course operation.

The role requires a high school diploma with 2+ years of experience, valid license, and ability to lead teams. Work days Monday–Friday with opportunities to contribute to course upkeep and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of experience maintaining and repairing golf course equipment.
• Familiar with small engine repair, hydraulic systems, and diesel engines.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains, and repairs equipment: greens, tees, fairway mowers, tank sprayers, greens roller, tractors, utility vehicles, spreaders, and other turf equipment.
• Maintains and oversees the golf cart fleet.
• Performs semi-skilled to skilled work in golf grounds maintenance including cutting cups, raking bunkers, mowing greens, tees, and fairways with independent judgment.
• Performs irrigation, drainage, and turf maintenance practices.
• Demonstrates preventive maintenance knowledge on equipment.
