Job summary

Glenview Golf Course in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a full-time Lead Equipment Technician for golf course maintenance. You will lead a team of four mechanics, provide daily upkeep, repair and sharpening of turf equipment, and coordinate parts and maintenance cycles.

A company vehicle is provided for site travel between properties within Troon’s portfolio. The role emphasizes reel maintenance and high-quality course conditions.

Qualifications

• Maintenance of a wide range of turf equipment including daily upkeep, repairs and sharpening.
• Ability to perform reel grinding, bedknife sharpening, and mower adjustments to meet height-and-quality standards.
• Experience with motors, reels, machinery overhaul and fabrications such as fittings; and manage parts/inventory.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a preventive maintenance program for all equipment and orders parts and supplies.
• Inspects, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects on golf course maintenance equipment.
• Performs reel grinding and sharpening, mower adjustments, and general overhaul of motors and reels.
