Qualifications

• Education, Experience, & Certifications: Associate's degree in turfgrass science or related experience required.
• Ohio Pesticide Applicator's License (category 8 - turf pests endorsement) within the first 6 months of employment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of turf maintenance practices and golf etiquette.
• Experience in basic maintenance and repair of golf turf equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to exhibit leadership consistent with teamwork approach that recognizes the contribution of all employees.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain irrigation and drainage systems on the golf course.
• Perform routine turf maintenance including cups, bunkers, mowing greens/tees/fairways.
• Repair and maintain golf turf equipment and carts.
• Grind and set up reels for mowers.
• Apply pesticides and fertilizers with proper calibration.
• Provide guidance and supervision to team members.
