Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Key Carrying Lead to act as the in-store expert for their department and uphold brand standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

Under the guidance of store management, you’ll lead by example, coach teammates, and plan daily assignments, ensuring safe operations and adherence to policies. You’ll contribute to a positive, inclusive store environment and help drive sales and team performance.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Prior retail sales or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 15–35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand or walk extended periods.
• Ability to work at heights with ladder or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods.

Responsibilities

• Directly impacting brand standards and teammate experience.
• Lead in-store teams to deliver the best service to customers.
• Plan and organize 30-day workforce and daily assignments with store leadership.
• Coach teammates and foster a people-first culture.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and store training.
