Job summary

Invited is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent to lead agronomic programs for an 18-hole course, manage budgets, supervise staff, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes safety, member satisfaction, and proactive maintenance planning.

The successful candidate will oversee chemical applications, equipment maintenance, and coordination with the Head Golf Professional to optimize play while maintaining top-tier course conditions. Strong leadership and turf expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Turf Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Golf Course Maintenance experience.
• Minimum 1 year of budgeting experience for course/landscape maintenance.
• Minimum 1 year of technical knowledge of equipment, products, and resources for golf course operations.
• Current State Pesticide Applicator License or must obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide agronomic oversight to ensure healthy growth of grasses, trees, wetlands, and other plant materials.
• Supervise chemical applications and record-keeping, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Oversee safe operation, use, and maintenance of golf course equipment; plan/budget for replacement.
• Maintain course to highest standards following company and industry guidelines.
• Control expenses related to golf course operations and adhere to budget.
• Collaborate with Head Golf Professional to optimize rounds around member plays and events.
• Regularly communicate with members to exceed their expectations.
• Ensure staff training in OSHA, club safety, and state/federal guidelines.
