The ideal candidate has 5+ years in golf course maintenance, turfgrass knowledge, irrigation, pest/disease control, and strong financial acumen.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
- Extensive knowledge of turfgrass science, irrigation, and pest/disease control.
- Proven leadership and staff management ability.
- Strong financial acumen and budget experience.
- Degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop agronomic plans for turfgrass health, irrigation, pest management, and fertilization.
- Lead and mentor maintenance staff with a culture of improvement.
- Oversee maintenance budget and resource allocation.
- Enforce safety protocols and environmental stewardship.
- Use remote monitoring and site visits to assess conditions.
- Collaborate with club management to meet playing standards.
