Landscapes Golf Management is seeking a dynamic Golf Course Superintendent to oversee maintenance for Settler’s Hill and Hughes Creek courses in Kane County, IL. You will lead turf management, irrigation, and facility upkeep across both courses, ensuring high standards and compliance.

The role requires overseeing staff, budgets, safety programs, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on quality and guest experience. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in turf management or related field is required.
• 3 years experience as Golf Course Superintendent is required.
• Experience with budget development and staff management is essential.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and chemical applications is essential.
• Ability to ensure safety and regulatory compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the maintenance operation for two golf courses and related grounds.
• Supervise maintenance staff and equipment, and coordinate schedules.
• Manage irrigation system, fertilizer and pesticide programs; license as required.
• Develop and monitor annual maintenance budgets and capital projects.
• Ensure safety programs and regulatory compliance across operations.
• Maintain relationships with professional organizations and stay updated on industry trends.
