Edgewood Country Club, a private 18‑hole facility in West Virginia, seeks a Golf Course Superintendent to oversee the entire course maintenance and related operations. You will lead a team, manage budgets, and implement agronomic programs to keep greens and fairways in peak condition.

The role requires strong leadership, turf management knowledge, and experience with irrigation systems, budgeting, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of turf management program preferred.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff and budgeting.
• Licensed to apply pesticides or able to obtain WV license.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance of bent grass greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
• Develop and manage annual budget and capital plans.
• Lead agronomic programs for turf health and irrigation.
• Supervise staff: hiring, training, scheduling, performance.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with club leadership around events and tournaments.
• Monitor irrigation and environmental compliance.
