Eagle Brook Country Club is seeking a skilled Golf Course Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and care of our golf course, with a passion for turfgrass management and the ability to lead a dedicated team. You will implement turfgrass maintenance programs, manage irrigation, oversee mowing, aerification, and bunker and greens upkeep, and help develop the annual budget for the maintenance department.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in golf course management.
• A degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of turfgrass, irrigation systems, and golf course equipment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in budget management and cost control.

Responsabilités

• Implement turfgrass maintenance programs to ensure healthy, attractive playing surfaces.
• Monitor and manage irrigation systems for optimal water use.
• Oversee mowing, aerification, topdressing, and other cultural practices.
• Manage bunkers, greens, fairways, and other course features to meet standards.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of groundskeeping staff.
• Schedule and coordinate daily tasks to ensure efficient maintenance.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Assist in developing and managing the annual maintenance budget.
• Monitor expenses and stay within budget constraints.
• Promote sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in golf course management.
