Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Superintendent to lead the maintenance, operation, and management of a golf course in Vista, CA. This role serves as a liaison among the company, customer representatives, and the golf shop, ensuring daily course operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key duties include planning maintenance within contract specs, developing long-term improvement plans, supervising staff, and maintaining regulatory and safety standards while communicating effectively with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Experience in all phases of golf course management and turf culture.
• Strong understanding of irrigation, fertilization, and course conditioning practices.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct maintenance of all course areas.
• Supervise maintenance equipment operation and repairs.
• Prepare and manage annual budget estimates.
• Develop agronomic plans within contract specifications.
• Lead hiring, training, and performance management of staff.
