Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC in Vista, CA, seeks a Superintendent to lead the maintenance, operation and management of a golf course. You will act as liaison between BrightView, the customer representative, and the golf shop, ensuring daily course operations and strong communication with key staff.

Responsibilities include directing maintenance per contract, planning annual agronomic programs, budgeting, equipment management, reporting, and staff supervision.

Qualifications

• Administrative and executive ability with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Degree or advanced knowledge in agronomy, horticulture, plant, or soil science.
• Valid driver’s license and pesticide usage certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct maintenance of all course areas per contract specifications.
• Partner with customer to develop long-term property improvement plans.
• Supervise maintenance, operation, and repair of course equipment; manage budget and agronomic plans.
• Procure and manage supplies; prepare reports of maintenance activities.
• Manage golf course staff including hiring, training, and discipline.

Education

Degree or advanced knowledge of agronomy, horticulture, plant, or soil science

Administrative and executive ability, communication skills & computer proficiency

Valid driver’s license
