Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Golf Superintendent to oversee maintenance, operation, and management of a golf course. You will liaison between the company, customer representatives, and the golf shop on daily course operations, ensuring exemplary service and adherence to BrightView policies.

The role requires extensive golf course management expertise, agronomy knowledge, and strong administrative abilities.

Qualifications

Experience in all phases of golf course management and turf culture.
Knowledge of greens, tees, fairways, roughs and bunkers maintenance.
Degree or advanced knowledge of agronomy, horticulture, plant, or soil science.
Strong administrative and written/oral communication skills; computer proficiency.
Certified/licensed for pesticide usage.
Knowledge of irrigation systems, pumps, wells, and drainage.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and direct maintenance of all areas within the contract scope.
Partner with the customer to develop a long-term property improvement plan.
Supervise operation, maintenance, and repair of all course equipment.
Prepare and operate within annual budget estimates.
Create and follow an annual agronomic plan within contract specs and budget.
Procure and manage supplies and materials for maintenance activities.
Create and distribute reports of maintenance activities as required.
Manage golf course employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, discipline, and separation.
Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies including BrightView Safety Program.
