Job summary

Kierland Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a driven Player Assistant to welcome golfers and start play for the day. You will explain the rules, help players settle in, and monitor pace of play while keeping the course running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Driver’s License, and reliable attendance. This hospitality-focused position offers growth within Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate in English with customers and teammates.
• Willingness to learn and contribute in a hospitality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Starts players on the golf course explaining the rules of play for the day.
• Tours the golf course assisting players to maintain the posted pace of play.
• Maintains an accurate starting sheet and tracks golfer locations.
• Monitors course safety, cleanliness and golfer satisfaction.
• Communicates with the Golf Shop and Starter on a regular basis.
• Reports issues to Head Professional and assumes safe work practices.
