Job summary

Foothills Golf Club in Phoenix, AZ, is hiring Player Assistants to help maintain pace of play and deliver friendly service on the course. You will marshal the course, greet players on the first tee, start players off at their tee times, and ensure course rules and cart guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities include restocking water and towels, inspecting restrooms, repairing divots, and aiding with cart returns while delivering top-notch guest service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and/or the ability to play the game of golf.
• Ability to operate golf carts safely and responsibly.
• Clear verbal communication with members and guests.
• Demonstrates a high level of customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Marshal the golf course, monitor pace of play, and enforce course and cart rules.
• Greet players on the first tee and start players off at scheduled tee times.
• Check water coolers and restrooms; provide towels and water for ball washers.
• Ensure divots are replaced, ball marks repaired and sand traps raked.
• Assist with the return of carts and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a solution-oriented attitude and meet customer service standards.
• Attend scheduled shifts on site and fulfill additional duties as directed.
