Job summary

Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, SC, part of Hyatt, invites you to join the Harbor Golf Course Maintenance team as an Irrigation Technician. The role requires prior experience and involves start-up, maintenance, and winterization of irrigation systems, diagnostics and repairs, and assisting with golf course setup.

Responsibilities

• Assist with irrigation system start-up, maintenance, and winterization.
• Diagnostics and repair to piping, irrigation heads, wiring, and satellite boxes.
• Assist with golf course set-up procedures.
• Perform general landscape maintenance using hand-held equipment.
• Operate small machinery to assist with edging, trimming, and mowing.
• Perform other duties as required.

Description:

The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the job duties as outlined below.Previous experience is required.

Qualifications

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat);
• Must be able to walk, climb into and out of and operate a vehicle frequently, with occasional stair climbing.
• Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 15 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat frequently;kneel or crawl occasionally; infrequently climb a ladder
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements, pushing and pulling and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching & fine manipulation occasionally.
