Job description

Hickory Heights Golf Club located in Bridgeville, PA is seeking a full or part time mechanic to oversee the maintenance and repair of the golf course's equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical defects and failures in various golf course equipment including diesel, electric and gasoline powered engines, mowers and vehicles.
2. Accurately test, troubleshoot and diagnose failures on hydraulic and electrical systems, gasoline and diesel engines.
3. Repair small engine equipment such as chainsaws, blowers, string trimmers, etc.
4. Daily check for height and quality of cut of all equipment used daily.
5. Keep a clean, safe and organized work space.
6. Grinding, sharpening and overhaul of motors and reels.
7. Create and implement a preventative maintenance program for equipment.
