Job summary

Bar Run Golf & RV Resort, part of Columbia Hospitality, seeks an Assistant Superintendent to oversee daily and long‑term golf course maintenance. You will lead the crew, coordinate irrigation and chemical applications, and ensure course conditions meet the club’s turf management program.

You will also help manage safety, training, and coordination with the superintendent on the playing conditions and landscaping for the entire property."

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in agronomy, horticulture, or plant science.
• Or an intensive two-year turfgrass management program (associate) accepted.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct daily and long-term golf maintenance operations.
• Supervise full-time and seasonal crew members.
• Oversee pesticide and fertilizer applications with supervisor input.
• Maintain course conditions per turf management program and supervise irrigation systems.
• Ensure safety programs are implemented and maintained.
• Coordinate landscaping for the property outside the golf course.
