Job summary
La Paloma Golf Club in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Superintendent to lead maintenance operations on the golf course. You will work with the Superintendent to manage budgets, plan projects, supervise crews, and maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers to the highest standards.
The role requires a related degree and several years of experience in turf management, with strong knowledge of MS Office and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher; agronomy/ horticulture/ plant/soil science preferred.
- Three to four years related experience and/or training; degree preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Oversees maintenance and construction of the golf course to established standards.
- Supervises maintenance staff and manages daily duties.
- Plans maintenance for greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers.
- Maintains records of maintenance activities and costs.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
