Job summary

La Paloma Country Club in Tucson, AZ is seeking a full-time Lead Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on repairs and oversee daily maintenance tasks. You will troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and equipment, while coordinating vendor support as needed.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in hospitality or facilities maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to test and verify repairs before closing work orders.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of hands-on maintenance experience in hospitality, club, resort, or facilities.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• High school diploma or GED required; valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, equipment repair, and general maintenance.
• Responds to routine and emergency maintenance requests.
• Manages work orders from initial assessment through completion, testing, cleanup, and documentation.
• Coordinates with resort engineering and outside vendors for specialized work.
• Maintains club equipment and systems and conducts routine preventive maintenance inspections.
• Communicates progress and needs to management and vendors.
