Job summary

El Conquistador Golf Club in Oro Valley, AZ is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Superintendent. You will work with the Superintendent to manage the course maintenance program, budgeting, and staffing, ensuring high-quality turf and facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or AA in agronomy, horticulture, plant or soil science required.
3–4 years related experience or equivalent mix of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Works with the Superintendent to maintain annual maintenance budget and capital plans.
Supervises and assists maintenance staff daily.
Assists in planning and directing maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers.
Oversees planting and cultural practices for turf and ornamentals.
Ensures equipment is properly maintained and within budget.
Procures supplies and controls costs within budget; records activities and prepares reports.
