Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Greenskeeper to maintain our golf course to Hyatt standards. The role involves outdoor maintenance, mowing, edging, weed eating, and other daily tasks on the course, with opportunities to contribute to a premier Texas resort experience.

Qualifications

• Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Standing for long periods and performing bending/kneeling tasks.
• Flexible schedule with potential for meals in colleague café and available benefits.

Responsibilities

• Mow greens, tees, fairways and roughs; rake bunkers; change cups and tee markers.
• Manicure lake banks and other areas; weed eating; aerify and verticut tees, greens and fairways.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Golf Course Superintendent to maintain Hyatt standards.

Summary

Schedule Requirements:Must be available to work a flexible schedule during the week, including weekends and holidays.

Role

The Greenskeeper is responsible for completing his or her assigned jobs throughout the course of the day. The jobs will include: Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and roughs; driving the bunker rake; changing cups and tee markers; manicuring lake banks and other areas on the course; weed eating; aerifying, topdressing and verticutting tees, greens, fairways; and performing other jobs as may be assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent to maintain the condition of the course to Hyatt standards.
