Job summary

The City of Pharr is seeking a Golf Course Landscaping Superintendent to lead golf course landscape maintenance and ongoing improvements to keep playing areas healthy and presentation-ready.

You will supervise the landscape staff, plan workloads, inspect course conditions, and oversee care of trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pharr, Texas. Typical schedule may include evenings or weekends as needed to meet course needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools.
• Working knowledge of chemicals (interactions, hazard indicators, application/production techniques, and proper disposal).
• Skill in routine equipment upkeep, diagnosing operating errors, and selecting corrective action.
• Ability to repair machines/systems using appropriate tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate landscape staff.
