Job summary

Charlotte Country Club is seeking an Infrastructure Superintendent to lead the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the club's critical golf course infrastructure systems, ensuring reliability and championship playing conditions.

You will oversee PrecisionAire hydronic rootzone heating and cooling, SubAir units, irrigation, drainage, and utilities, applying data-driven maintenance and capital project management while collaborating with the agronomy team.

Qualifications

• Experience managing golf course irrigation systems and infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with pump stations, irrigation controls and water management.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic systems.
• Knowledge of PrecisionAire or similar hydronic systems preferred; willingness to become SME.
• Project management experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PrecisionAire hydronic rootzone heating and cooling system.
• Monitor system performance via software, sensors and observations.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for hydronic components.
• Coordinate repairs with PrecisionAire technicians and vendors.
• Optimize system performance for turf health and consistency.
• Maintain detailed records and performance data.
• Oversee 26 vaulted SubAir units for drainage and aeration.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs for SubAir components.
• Diagnose system issues and coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Utilize technology and data to improve efficiency.
• Lead infrastructure-related capital projects; manage timelines and budgets.
• Ensure safety and minimal disruption to golf operations.
