Job summary

Invited Clubs is seeking an Irrigation Technician to repair, operate, maintain, and construct irrigation and drainage systems across its golf clubs. The role includes PVC, ADS, and poly piping, drainage improvements, and ensuring systems meet design specifications.

You will perform routine maintenance, operate heavy equipment, keep play areas safe and quiet, document daily usage, respond to after-hours emergencies, and collaborate with the Equipment Manager to support club operations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in golf course irrigation and satellite systems.
• Irrigation association certification or backflow device inspection and maintenance certification.
• Technical knowledge and hands-on experience with golf course maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on irrigation systems, including cleaning and adjusting sprinkler heads and repairing equipment.
• Operate powered equipment such as backhoes, trenchers, sod cutters, and mowers for golf course greens, aprons, and tees when required.
• Keep areas on the golf course free of debris and minimize noise to avoid disturbing golfers.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed and report major issues to the Superintendent.
