Job summary

Thompson Golf Management is seeking a Ranger to welcome guests, help maintain the pace of play, and uphold safety and course cleanliness across our Arizona courses. You will deliver friendly, attentive service and ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for all players.

Responsibilities include informing players about play times and rules, promoting course upkeep, enforcing policies on outside food and glass, coordinating with the Pro Shop, and assisting other team members to maximize guest

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Safety-conscious with knowledge about golf.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming first contact with each guest and ensure an enjoyable experience.
• Provide information regarding the course, play time, and other golf rules and cart conditions for the day.
• Assist in maintaining golf course conditions by promoting the use of divot repair sand, ball marks, and bunkers being raked.
• Move around the course in reverse order, hole 18 to hole 1, for safety reasons.
• Ensure no outside coolers are brought on the course, as well as glass bottles.
• Maintain communication with the Pro Shop in relation to players, the course, or other factors that would affect smooth operation.
• Keep all working areas attractive, neat, and clean and free of trash.
• Assist other positions as needed to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
