Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Golf Course Groundsperson to join our team in Florida. You will perform lawn maintenance, trimming, edging, and related tasks across various job sites within the region, with exposure to outdoor conditions and physical labor up to 50 pounds.

Experience with greenskeeping or irrigation duties is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is desirable but not required. We offer competitive pay and benefits as part of full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating turf maintenance equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Mowing small turf areas with fly-mow or push mowers.
• Trimming and edging using gas powered edger/trimmer.
• Operating a gas powered blower.
• Trimming shrubs and low trees to shape and remove damaged leaves or branches.
• Picking up leaves, trash, and cut grass and loading onto a truck or trailer.
• Weeding by hand or with a hoe.
• Report for daily work at different job sites within region.
• Greenskeeper and/or Irrigator duties as assigned.
• Regular heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to rain, cold, sun, or night.
• Repetitive movements: standing, walking, bending, etc.

• Picking up leaves, trash, and cut grass and placing onto a truck or trailer
• Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe
• The ability to report for daily work at different job sites within region to perform required tasks
• Greenskeeper and/or Irrigator duties as assigned.
