Job summary

BrightView is hiring a Golf Course Groundsperson to join our regional team. You’ll perform lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and debris removal across multiple sites to maintain golf course aesthetics and playability.

You’ll work outdoors in varying weather, lifting up to 50 pounds, and may take on Greenskeeper or Irrigator duties as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and benefits are provided for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience with mowing or small push m mower equipment.
• Ability to trim, edge, and shape shrubs and hedges with hand or gas tools.
• Comfort with performing outdoor landscaping tasks in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Mowing small turf areas with fly-mo or push mowers.
• Trimming and edging using gas-powered trimmer.
• Operating a gas-powered blower.
• Shaping shrubs with shears or pruners.
• Raking leaves and collecting debris for removal.
• Weeding by hand or with garden tools.
• Reporting to daily worksites within the region.
• Greenskeeper/Irrigator duties as assigned.
• Regular heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to outdoor environment including rain, cold, sun, night.
• Repetitive standing, walking, bending and squatting.

You’d be responsible for:

• Mowing small turf areas using “fly-mo” or small push power mowers

• Trimming and edging using a gas powered edger/trimmer

• Operating a gas powered blower

• Trimming shrubs and low trees to shape and improve growth or to remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs using shears, pruners, or gas powered hedge trimmers

• Picking up leaves, trash, and cut grass and placing onto a truck or trailer

• Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe

• The ability to report for daily work at different job sites within region to perform required tasks

• Greenskeeper and/or Irrigator duties as assigned.

• Regular Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds

• Regular exposure to outside environment including rain, cold, sun, or night

• Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping

And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
