Job summary

Invited Clubs in New York seeks a Greenskeeper to maintain the golf course turf and landscapes, ensuring optimal playability and aesthetics. Responsibilities include mowing, fertilizing, and irrigation, plus landscape care around the course and clubhouse.

You will operate equipment, perform routine maintenance, and help support course features while upholding club standards and safety guidelines. Strong teamwork and outdoor endurance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Prior knowledge in landscape management, greenhouse operations, or groundskeeping maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mow greens, fairways, tees, and roughs to maintain height and playability.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides according to plan and safety guidelines.
• Water turf areas and adjust irrigation systems for optimal moisture.
• Monitor turf conditions and address pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies.
• Safely operate powered equipment (mowers, aerators, sprayers).
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Maintain landscaping around the clubhouse, including flowerbeds, shrubs, and trees.
• Trim and prune trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and aesthetics.
• Prepare soil beds, lay sod, and plant vegetation as directed.
• Keep areas free of debris; assist in construction/maintenance of course features.
